The Bathurst-born school teacher was pitched into battle against hipster Jason Howell and guitarist Chris Hoskin in tonight's episode of the Channel 9 television show and won over the crowd - and her coach - with her rendition of Sigma and Paloma Faith's Changing.
Howell also won praise for his rendition of Bittersweet Symphony while Hoskin struggled with The Beatles' Across The Universe.
Jessie J admitted she had a difficult decision to make before settling on Cath.
"I'm going to go with the person I feel, like ... I'm like, torn," she said.
"I'm gonna go with Cath."
The win puts Cath through to the Live Finals stage of the competition and gives her a real shot of winning the 2015 edition of The Voice.
