You may also have noticed that domestic violence is increasing.
Also notice that there is no deterioration in the rate of suicides among farmers or the defence force.
You may have noticed that new childcare arrangements have been criticised because they will make access more difficult.
You may have realised that the government has threatened to jail people for up to two years if they make public the sexual and physical assaults, performed by those in charge, on Manus Island or Nauru.
Car manufacturing has gone and mining is slowing, leading to massive unemployment.
You will have noticed that banks are taking over farms all over Australia, and are very impatient.
Every news media outlet has informed us of the way our politicians are defrauding us via expense accounts.
You will also have noticed how quickly our federal politicians have reacted to those problems.
Eric Abetz, Senator Williams, Tony Abbott, Barnaby Joyce, plus others, have made compelling statements over the past few days:
“Same-sex marriage will have the Asian countries label us decadent”; “Stick to tradition, marriage is a deal between a man and a woman”; “I like the old way, so I won’t be supporting same sex marriage”; “Just because the USA and Ireland have voted for same-sex marriage does not make it right”; “The USA Supreme Court voted five to four in favour of same-sex marriage, I don’t consider that a majority” (actually, the vote was on whether states had the power to decide); and “No frontbencher in a government I lead will be going on Q&A”.
I am so proud of our politicians.
