A TEENAGE boy will front court on Thursday charged in connection to the theft of a pizza delivery van and a police pursuit in Armidale.

Police will allege the 17-year-old boy stole a pizza delivery vehicle on June 21 and led police on a pursuit, as well as allegedly stealing a woman’s handbag while she was walking along Donnelly Street on May 24.
About 8am on Wednesday, police went to a Niagara St home in search of the youth before he was located.
He allegedly resisted officers but was apprehended and taken to Armidale Police Station where he was charged with the alleged illegal use of a pizza delivery van, police pursuit, steal from person, use weapon to avoid apprehension and other traffic matters.
He will front court on Thursday in Armidale.
