It appears there's nothing Today host Karl Stefanovic won't do in support of womankind.
After donning the same suit for an entire year to make a point about sexism, on Friday morning the 40-year-old strutted around the Nine studio in a pair of flaming red stilettos.
"We're trying to understand what women go through," Stefanovic said, looking very unsteady on his feet.
"I've done some difficult things in my life and this is not easy. This is not easy.
"Balance is a problem, the back of my achilles hurt, my lower back hurts, but god, I look good."
Bemused Today co-host Lisa Wilkinson said the father-of-three needed to "toughen up".
The hilarious stunt follows controversy at Cannes Film Festival this week where it was revealed female attendees couldn't walk on the red carpet in flat shoes.
"Women of Australia, I'm listening to you and I'm getting what you're putting down in these shoes, and I don't like it," Stefanovic said, before encouraging other men to get in on the act.
"What I want to do is encourage the men of Australia today to wear high heels to work just so that we know how much women of Australia suffer to look how good they look.
"It makes you feel like a woman, which I think is powerful."
3AW radio host Neil Mitchell was also part of the segment, but said he didn't know what the big deal was.
"I was walking around in them and it is not difficult. I don't know what women are complaining about," he said to unimpressed looks from Wilkinson and other Today host Sylvia Jeffreys.
Jeffreys ribbed Stefanovic for finally being the same height as his younger brother, Nine journalist Peter Stefanovic, who she is also dating.
"I have other attributes," Stefanovic declared as the panel sniggered.
