So many people are financially struggling that a lot can’t afford the petrol to travel.
Treasurer Hockey has said that fewer poor people are travelling and therefore petrol price increases won’t hurt them. I guess he’s forgotten that poor people have to buy groceries and rising fuel cost affects the price of food in the shops.
PM Tony and his cronies want to increase the fuel excise, but they won’t tell us how much money will be raised over a 24-hour period.
Of taxes and manipulating politicians there is no end.
