The Sydney Thunder have added two seasoned T20 cricketers to finalise their squad ahead of the beginning of the Big Bash League on December 18.

Australian all-rounder Andrew McDonald and English wicket-keeper batsman Craig Kieswetter have joined the western Sydney team.
Thunder general manager Nick Cummins hopes McDonald will provide an apt option in the lower order with a current T20 average of 33.54.
"We were delighted that Andrew McDonald was keen to join the Thunder for BBL04," Cummins said. "In McDonald and Kallis we now have two world class all-rounders giving Paddy Upton and Mike Hussey tremendous flexibility around match day strategy."
Kieswetter is being brought in as a third international player to cover English T20 captain Eoin Morgan, when he leaves the Thunder to join the English one-day squad for the ODI Tri-Series in January.
In Victoria the Melbourne Renegades announced the signing of West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell. Russell will join fellow West Indies international Dwayne Bravo and provide some power hitting and quality -fast-medium pacers.
"I'm really looking forward to getting to Australia and playing a key role for the Melbourne Renegades this season," Russell said. "The Renegades have a talented squad this year with a good mix of big hitters and great bowlers so I want to contribute to the team in both areas this season."
