The school’s main fundraiser for the year, the event combines children’s activities with the more traditional market stalls, so there’s certainly something for everyone.
The kids will love getting their faces painted, the jumping castle, putt-putt golf, loom bands, lucky dips, fairy floss, an obstacle course and Christmas craft, while the school’s parents have been working hard on stocking their stalls with cakes, preserves, fresh flowers, plants, lollies, wine, second-hand goods and pre-loved clothes.
Stallholders from outside the school will also feature, selling garden sculptures, jewellery, bric-a-brac and children’s clothing.
A special attraction this year is a pop-up art gallery with works for sale from some popular local artists including Andrea Bruno, Sally Hill, Kate Kennedy, Katherine Harvey and Nancy Hunt.
The gallery curators have also secured works from a number of leading Australian artists from private collections in Tamworth.
There’s also a chocolate wheel for those who like to try their luck and a silent auction.
The fair starts at 11am.
