More than 60 stallholders from throughout the region have already signed up for the event, to be held on November 8.
Uralla Shire mayor Mick Pearce launched the event at Burnett's Bookshop last Thursday, saying the range of artisan goods and produce demonstrated the diversity and rich resources across the New England.
About 3000 people attended the first fair day and greater numbers are expected at the Uralla Showground next month.
"There is an increasing interest in local produce, demonstrated by the growth of farmers' markets in so many centres," Cr Pearce said.
"It will be a real community day, with attractions for children and adults, and we are urging people to stay on at night for the music and some very interesting local food. Uralla has long had a reputation for the arts, history and local produce, for a beautiful main street and obliging coffee shops open all weekend.
"It's great to now be able to add to that with a warm welcome for New England producers at this twice-yearly event."
Organiser Tara Toomey said she was thrilled with the diversity of the line-up of stallholders, with 65 scheduled to come from Inverell, Guyra, Glen Innes, Tamworth, Dorrigo, Kentucky, Armidale and Uralla.
She said all stallholders were producing high-quality handmade products, from food, wine, beer and world-class gin through to gourmet foods like brewery sausages, springwater trout, cupcakes and confectionary.
"This event welcomes handmade products of all kinds, so we also have a superb range of children's clothing, skincare products, jewellery, artwork for home and garden, as well as heirloom seeds," she said.
