The first shows of the 2015 Tamworth Country Music Festival go on sale tomorrow, with at least 30 big concerts on offer but they're for online customers only at this stage.
Some of the major stars of Australian country are in the first release of tickets perennial favourites such as John Williamson, Graeme Connors, Troy Cassar-Daley, Melinda Schneider, The Feral Swing Katz, Camille and Stuie, Aleyce Simmonds, Graham Rodger and many more.
The shows will be hosted at a variety of venues, including Tamworth Town Hall, the Capitol Theatre, Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre, the Longyard Hotel, the Court House Hotel and North Tamworth Bowling Club.
In just over 100 days the 43rd Tamworth Country Music Festival begins, with some 800 performers playing 4000 free and ticketed shows in more than 120 venues across the city.
Tickets to country music's night of nights, the Golden Guitar Awards, will go on sale in coming weeks, but there are still tickets available to see international country music superstar Kenny Rogers, who will perform on the final day of the festival, Sunday, January 25.
Festival director John Sommerlad said the array of artists for the 2015 event was impressive, to say the least.
"The 2015 line-up features an exceptional mix of country music icons and up-and-coming new talent," Mr Sommerlad said.
"We are thrilled to host artists of this calibre and excited to open up the flood gates to thousands of festival visitors in Tamworth."
Tickets can only be purchased online from the official festival website at www.tcmf.com.au
Further tickets for additional events will be released between now and November 1, when phone and physical ticket sales open.
The Toyota Country Music Festival Tamworth 2015 will be held from Friday to Sunday, January 16 to 25.
