Two exceptional independent local members deserve a couple of real thumbs ups for their efforts over many years, as do many others who did the grunt work on the hospital redevelopment.
Alas, the spoils of political opportunism go to the man with the scissors cutting the ribbon, not the people who strung it and tied the bow.
I wonder if the Northern Tablelands’ Adam Marshall will be cutting ribbons at Armidale hospital any time soon?
