Captains Starlight at their service

STAR LIGHT, star bright – nothing shone more than the smiles on the kids’ faces in the Tamworth hospital children’s ward yesterday when two Captain Starlights came to town.

The “Captains” Starlight arrived in Tamworth from Armidale where they entertained sick children at that city’s hospital on Tuesday.

Guests of the Greater Building Society, the dynamic duo used face painting, card games, singalongs and balloon making to take young patients’ minds off their hospital stay.

It’s the second time the Captains have visited Tamworth and Armidale this year.

Funding from the Greater Charitable Foundation allows for the program in  local hospitals four times a year.
