Investigators released the security surveillance which is believed to be the last time Alexis Jeffery was seen alive.
Nine hours after the footage on March 16, the mother-of-three's partially-clothed body was found in the Macintyre River in the town, close to where she lives.
Queensland police are hoping the fresh video might inspire witnesses to come forward.
They're appealing for anyone who might have seen the couple between 2am and 3.30am on March 16.
The video from the Royal Hotel in Goondiwindi shows the man approach Ms Jeffery from behind before they continue to walk together along Marshall St.
Earlier this week, Acting Superintendent Dave Isherwood told Fairfax Media the man said he had walked with Ms Jeffery before they separated and went their own ways, which was not captured on the video.
"He's given us a version of events which can't be corroborated or uncorroborated," he said.
"The CCTV footage proves what he's told us thus far. After that we've only got his version of events because the only other person who could tell us is no longer alive."
The man, who is a Goondiwindi local, is being treated as a person of interest in the case and police have maintained there are a number of people whose stories were yet to be verified.
The murder has baffled police and the town where the 24-year-old woman lived with her three sons.
"We think it was someone the victim knew. There's nothing to suggest at this time it was a random act," Acting Superintendent Isherwood said.
"Police are still awaiting the final results of forensic examination ... there were no physical signs of trauma with respect to a sexual assault."
Anyone with information is urged to come forward and contact local police or Crime Stoppers.
