Dwayne Duncan, 25, will spend up to 18 months behind bars for the short pursuit on February 2.
Highway patrol officers spotted Duncan behind the wheel of a car seen speeding along Jones Ave about 5.30pm.
Police initiated a pursuit when Duncan failed to stop.
When Duncan eventually pulled over he resisted police who tried to apprehend him and was arrested on the spot.
He pleaded guilty to police pursuit not stop, drive while disqualified, resisting police and an outstanding warrant.
In Moree Local Court, Magistrate Michael Holmes sentenced Duncan to 18 months in jail with a 12-month non-parole period.
