Annabelle Monie, Northern Tablelands Local Land Services (LLS) communications officer, said the evening would be tailored to livestock producers and livestock agents.
The workshop is being conducted by NSW Farmers and Northern Tablelands LLS.
It will focus on early weaning options, feeding, pasture and market options in current conditions, supplementary feeding, budget options.
Ms Monie said a livestock officer, district vet and agronomist would all speak, to give an update on cost estimates of feeding versus destocking.
“People need to make decisions on whether to keep their stock and feed them or take them to the saleyards,” Ms Monie said.
She said budgeting and making a decision, whatever that entailed, really helped with a grazier’s state of mind, as it was all about taking positive action.
The workshop kicks off at 6pm at Landmark’s Guyra office in Boorolong St.
