More than 100 people are gathered at the Leard State Forest to prevent contractors from carrying out logging activities.
#leardblockade shuts down ANZ & Whitehaven's destructive coal mine. 2014 the year of consequences, do we let coal & gas destroy our future?

Police have been on the scene since early this morning and at last report there had been three arrests.
The blockade comes as Narrabri Shire Council holds an extraordinary meeting this afternoon to revisit last week's decision to act on protesters camped illegally in the forest.
