Tamworth residents will again show their festival pride by pulling on their Tamworth Proud hats this Toyota Country Music Festival Tamworth 2014.
Last year they ran out, so the region’s residents are urged to get in early, show their licences and grab their exclusive hats in the lead-up to the event.
They’re available at Tamworth City Toyota now and from Festival HQ from Friday.
Tamworth Regional Council business and events marketing specialist Susie Buckland said there would be nearly 5000 hats available this year.
“This is a way for us to show our pride in the festival,” she said. “It’s something unique for Tamworth residents.”
For those early-risers, Sunrise will be at Tamworth’s Big Golden Guitar on Monday broadcasting the weather between 6am and 9am.
The first 200 residents to show their licences will get a Tamworth Proud hat.
Intrepid weather reporter Edwina Bartholomew will also be serving up her soft-serve ice cream that she’s been handing out down the east coast during the summer holidays from the Sunrise ice cream van.
