The A-lister jetted into town on a commercial Qantas flight at about 10am and headed straight for Werris Creek to scope out potential movie locations, leaving a wave of excitement in her wake.
McCarthy Catholic College Year 12 students Ashleigh Tiberi, Caitlin McHugh and Julia Brandon were beside themselves when they saw photographic proof Mrs Brad Pitt was in town.
After a quick Maccas stop, the self-confessed nervous eaters made their way to Werris Creek.
About five minutes outside of Duri the girls spotted the star’s silver van, but then lost sight of their target after giving way to a truck.
“We did a U-turn and and followed the van and then a truck was pulling out so we had to wait for that and then we lost the van so we made our way here as we assumed she was leaving,” Ashleigh said.
The excitable teens declared they would “stake out all night if that’s what it takes” to see the film star in the flesh.
“She just seems like a good bloke, don’t you think?” Ashleigh said.
“If we see Angelina, I’m definitely selling her photos to pay for my formal dress,” she laughed.
Caitlin hoped to get a selfie with the superstar so she could post it on Facebook and get “lots of likes,” while Julia was unsure what she would do if they came face-to-face, saying she would “probably scream”.
All three agreed they would be devastated if they missed out on seeing the mother-of-six.
Luckily their patience was rewarded yesterday afternoon, capturing video footage of the movie star as she left the city.
