yesterday. Each year the school’s Year 12 students are given the task of dressing up to a chosen theme in the lead up to their HSC exams.
Carinya’s director of studies, Dave Jones, said the HSC students visited junior school classrooms and prep classes to spread the fun.
“The day gives students an opportunity to serve others in the school, delighting the students with the different characters they come dressed as,” he said.
After the fun during the morning the students organise a barbecue lunch together.
“It’s a great opportunity to give students a break from the rigorous study programs,” Mr Jones said. “It is always a great deal of fun!”
Some of the notable characters to arrive in the classrooms and out in the school’s playground yesterday included Pac Man, the Monopoly Man and Capitan Jack Sparrow.
