Police officers from the Oxley Local Area Command, with the assistance of the Police Airwing Unit, executed a search warrant on the property last Thursday and Friday following the alleged theft of 292 sheep.
Mounted police officers mustered 680 sheep on the property and found 19 of the sheep to be stolen. Following the investigation police charged the Manilla man with stealing and firearm offences after police allegedly located an unsecured firearms cabinet containing two firearms and ammunition.
Rural Crime officers are continuing their inquiries to determine the location of the remaining stolen sheep.
