Coach Peter Hiscock and a group of tennis campers were having a fun finish to the four day camp. After skills sessions putting hand-eye coordination into practice the young players then swapped their racquets for water pistols.
"The emphasis is on fun," Hiscock said after receiving a volley of water streams from eager young servers.
"We've had some video analysis, ball machines and speed radar here for the camp. Some of the kids serve at over 120km/h."
Bill Duff was probably the quickest.
"How fast were you," Hiscock yelled to the 13-year-old tennis hopeful.
"135km/h," was the reply.
"That's pretty quick for a 13-year-old," Hiscock said.
"And we have a lot of young ones here too, around six and seven, who are very talented. Some of them are here for only their first or second camp and show a lot of potential."
Not only with the tennis racquet but also water pistols.
There's no rest for a coach during school holidays with Hiscock beginning another four-day camp today.
