The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service was called to the scene south-east of Tamworth just prior to midday on Sunday.

The 31-year-old was treated for chest injuries on site by local ambulance paramedics, and then stabilised by the helicopter critical care medical team upon their arrival.
She was then airlifted to Tamworth hospital, where she is reported to be in a stable position.
