POLICE and family are concerned about the welfare of missing Tamworth man Ian Steadman after he didn't come home on Tuesday.

The 67-year-old was last seen in the Kootingal area about 2:20pm on Sunday, and was reported missing to Oxley Police District officers on Tuesday.
Mr Steadman is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 180cm tall, thin build with grey hair and blue eyes.
He is known to visit Tilba near Narooma, Nundle, Chaffey Dam and Cairns in QLD.

Anyone who has information about Mr Steadman's whereabouts is urged to contact Tamworth police immediately.
