To win Monopoly, it all comes down to strategy and a little bit of chance.
Now, locals can roll the dice on Tamworth Railway Station, Chaffey Dam or Peel Street in their quest to become property moguls.
Tamworth Regional Council visitor economy coordinator Kate Baker said the game is part of the 50th Tamworth Country Music Festival celebrations.
"I think there was maybe only one or two [places] that didn't make the cut, it was a great community engagement and we got so much feedback from the community and it's a really exciting project," she said.
"For council it's not about making a huge amount of money, obviously we need to make a profit and that money will go back into marketing the destination, but it's really about having something unique for Tamworth."

Hundreds of games have already been snatched up in pre-sale.
Along with Monopoly, the city has its own Top Trumps card game - which features destinations across the region.
Initially the council had considered allowing businesses to buy properties on the board, but decided against it, Ms Baker said.
"It's about longevity and having these destinations that will be there in the future so it doesn't date the game and allows us to do a reprint if there's demand down the track," she said.
The Tamworth board also features the only gold player piece in Australia, the Golden Guitar.
The games are available at the Visitor Information Centre or through Entertainment Venues website.
