Almost 2000 tickets were sold in the first 24 hours, setting an Australian and New Zealand record among regional centres, which includes the likes of Newcastle and Geelong.
Spokesperson Nathan Brown said it was an incredible result, given Nitro Circus has done 137 shows across the country over the past 12 years.
"It was a pretty mind-blowing result really, Tamworth was a late addition to the tour and it was the best selling show of the 15 that we put on sale," he said.

It was encouraging to see there was still such an appetite for the performance after such a long lay off due to COVID, said Mr Brown.
"The Tamworth show date of the 19th of March is almost two years to the day since we did our last show in Australia," he said.
"So to come back two years later and hit some big regional centres, including Newcastle and Wollongong and Geelong, and to see Tamworth outselling all of those three secondary cities in Australia is pretty amazing."
There are still tickets on sale though, with the capacity set at 10,000 for the show which will take place at Scully Park.
