"While cases numbers are lower today in Moree and Inverell areas, we continue to urge anyone with even the mildest of symptoms to continue to come forward for testing," Hunter New England Health (HNEH) physician Dr David Durrheim said.
"High vaccination rates are essential to reduce the risk of transmission and protect the health and safety of the community.
"This is especially important for Aboriginal communities in these areas, where there continue to be a number of cases identified."
A fresh exposure site has been listed in Moree, anyone that was at the Victoria Hotel on Gosport Street at the specified time is a casual contact and should seek a test and isolate until a result is received.
