Jane Kibble from Timbumburi Public School, David Bailey from Tamworth South Public School, and Tamara Gasson from Peel High School have each been recognised with life membership of the Tamworth Teachers' Association.
With around 70 years of teaching experience between them, the group said it was an absolute honour to be recognised for their dedication to Tamworth's young people.
"Teaching is one of those things where you can make so much of a difference to the lives of other people," Ms Kibble said.
Mr Bailey said his position at Tamworth South had allowed him to make an impact on kids lives, from kindergarten up until Year 6.

"You see them grow over time and you know you've been a small part of that," he said.
The three educators join quite an exclusive list, with only 13 other teachers being awarded life memberships since 1981.
"It's quite an honour to be listed with some of those people," Mr Bailey said.
"I know many of them myself and have looked up to them for a number of years."
To be eligible for the life membership, nominees are required to work as active members of the association for the benefit of other educators for at least ten years.
They will work mainly behind the scenes, ensuring everything from catering to minute keeping runs as smooth as possible.
"I like to fly in the background just organising everything as a secretary," Ms Gasson said.
"But it's nice to be recognised for that work."
The life memberships were presented by NSW Teachers Federation President Angelo Gavrielatos.
