While face masks have become the norm in 2021, this weekend Tamworthians will pull on a different type of mask to celebrate the spooky season.
Ready to give locals a trick or a treat is Brooklyn Williams and her parents, who have converted their Gill Street family home into a house of horrors in preparation for this weekend.
With her parents lucky enough to spend Halloween in America in previous years, Ms Williams said the family had used lockdown as a chance to prepare for the big celebration.
"Over lockdown mum and dad got online and ordered a lot of stuff," she said.
"They decided to go ham on it and deck the whole house out."

With enough decorations to send shivers down your spine, the front yard features a pumpkin patch, a graveyard and even a corpse bride and groom.
To make sure everyone has a fang-tastic time, Ms Williams said the family made it a priority to keep everything COVID safe.
"We've set it up so people can take turns of going to each section and you don't have a great group of people crowding," she said.
"Mum's doing up lollybags individually so she can give them straight out.
"Everything is individually wrapped so you're not really touching anything."
Anticipating a night of spells and screams, Ms Williams said she was most excited about seeing families out enjoying themselves.
"I think it's good for the kids," she said.
"You don't realise they've been locked down as well.
"It's a good treat for them."
If you're looking for a scream on Sunday, locals have created a Facebook page called 'Tamworth Halloween Happenings' where you can find the spookiest houses on the street.
So hop on your broomstick and head down the spooky streets of Tamworth for a trick or a treat this weekend.
