Two men will face Moree Local Court after police allegedly caught them travelling with two bags of methylamphetamine in their vehicle, with an estimated street value of $30,000.

The car was stopped on Tuesday, after Peel Traffic and Highway Patrol officers claim they clocked it speeding on the Gwydir Highway near Pallamallawa at about 1.30pm.
A 33-year-old man was driving the Holden Astra, and allegedly returned a positive road-side drug test result when officers swabbed him.

Carrying out a subsequent search of the vehicle, police allege they found two packages of white powder, believed to be 32.14g of methylamphetamine, and cannabis.
The drugs were seized and have been sent to undergo further forensic examination.
Police arrested the driver and another 44-year-old male passenger and took them to Moree Police Station.
The potential street value of the haul is estimated to be about $30,000.
The driver was charged with drive motor vehicle during disqualification period.
The passenger was charged with supply prohibited drug; possess prohibited drug; possession of equipment for administering prohibited drugs and custody of knife in public place.
Both men were refused bail to appear at Moree Local Court today.
