A controversial feedlot proposal has rattled residents who feel it frankly not only stinks, but could put a strain on water security in the area.
The Goonoo Goonoo Pastoral Company project near Loomberah will go before Tamworth councillors tonight.
Closer to town, a 20-year plan to beautify the CBD by tweaking parts of the Local Environmental Plan to require developers to exhibit 'design excellence' will go before the council.
The proposal is part of Blueprint 100, and aims to force changes to buildings in the CBD to be made more thoughtfully.
The council will also consider a proposal to turn the Old Station Master's House at East Tamworth into an artist in residence.
