As lockdowns and restrictions start to lift, it's time to let your hair down with the larger than life Freeda Tuck at The Tamworth Hotel's first ever drag queen karaoke night.
Publican Luke Prout said it's time bring the fun back into life.
"We need to bring something light-hearted and fun and irreverent back to pubs, it's been a miserable 19 months, we missed the Tamworth Country Music Festival last year so it's time to get out for a laugh," he said.
"I've done this in hotels in Sydney before and I think it brings a different flavour and a bit of variety to run-of-the-mill karaoke and entertainment.
"I think it's also important, we pride ourselves on being an inclusive venue."

Tamworth LGBTQI+ youth support Refracted is also expected to come along and it's a great opportunity to learn more about the scene, or connect with like-minded people.
The drag karaoke night is part of a slow shift in the Tamworth pub scene towards offering something more than just a schnitzel and cold beer to the public.
Mr Prout said while there's still a place for that, the market has become more competitive and as a result pubs have needed to diversify.
"We were doing it in Gunnedah and I have done it at venues in Sydney as well, it really helps people strip away their inhibitions a bit more because there's more going on," he said.
"We're asking people to glam up, we'll be giving away prizes for best dressed, best song and best performance."
The first event is on Saturday, October 30.
