Adam Marshall MP will join Uralla Shire Council's Mayor Michael Pearce and General Manager Kate Jessep for the official opening at 11:45am on Saturday, October 23, with the pool opening for the first dips of the season at midday.
Proof of vaccination is required for all visitors over 16 until 1 December, when changes to the Public Health Order are expected.
A one person per two square metre limit also currently applies as per COVID restrictions and Eftpos is preferred to help minimise cash handling.
Visitors to the pool are being invited to relax on the grass or picnic tables, fire up the free BBQ, and keep cool under the shade sails.
"The pool is such a popular place for recreation over the warmer months," said Mayor Pearce.
"On average, our community will make about 10,000 visits to the pool over the season, whether that's for lap swimming, families with young children or to cool off after school."
Although the pool is supervised by a qualified lifeguard, all children under 10 years of age must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times.
Other recent upgrades include expanded car park with disabled parking, and upgraded office and PA systems.
