A happy accident with some Christmas socks she ordered that arrived in adult sizes gave her an idea to give back, and now she plans to donate treat packages to local nursing home Moonbi House.
"At the moment I have been off due to ill health," she said.
"I've been off for four or five months, so lately I've been paying my business a bit more attention - I ordered these socks to go in Christmas Eve boxes and my family usually has the tradition of doing the Kmart giving tree because I like to teach my daughter to give back.
"I thought it was great to give back closer to home this year with the COVID, people are struggling and some have lost employment so I would rather give to somewhere closer to home - sometimes we do the boxes that get sent overseas but I would rather give to our community."

Mrs Loy said she was shocked by the public's reaction when she took to Facebook for suggestions about where to donate.
"i didn't know whether a lot of places were taking items because some nursing homes don't take outside stuff," she said.
"But I was really surprised, I had a lot of people inbox me and say it's beautiful and thank you for giving back to the community."
