After a large-scale coordinated land, air and water search of the surrounding area across numerous days, a volunteer helping with the search found the man's body about 9:40am today.
The body was recovered by police divers with the assistance of Western Region Police Rescue a short time later.
It is yet to be formally identified but is believed to be that of the 25-year-old man, who was last seen on a property seven kilometres from Narrabri on Old Gunnedah Road about 7am on Saturday morning.

Mr Gray was first reported missing after he failed to meet friends as planned about 11am on Saturday, when police launched an investigation to find him.
