Troy Gregory Lance Norman, aged in his 30s, remains behind bars and did not appear in Tamworth Local Court last week when his matter was adjourned.
Solicitor Madeleine Mulvaney from the state prosecuting authority, the DPP, said the Crown had not yet confirmed which allegations to press ahead with against the accused.
"We are not ready to proceed with charge certification today," she said.

Norman's Aboriginal Legal Service defence solicitor Gemma Ridley told the court she did not object to the delay.
Police allege Norman confronted a Domino's driver on Edward Street on the evening of May 7, after a pizza delivery gone wrong.
Police said at the time that Norman approached the worker and allegedly threatened him, before the altercation continued to West Tamworth Domino's.
The alleged victim was then able to alert management.
Norman is facing charges of being armed with intent to commit an indictable offence; taking or detaining a person with intent to gain an advantage; and resisting an officer in the execution of duty.
He has not yet been required to enter pleas.
