Timothy John Brooks and John Barry Carruthers did not appear in Tamworth District Court when their cases were called earlier this week.
Strike Force Kunderbung police alleged the pair were connected to a large-scale supply ring that they claim was moving drugs, in particular ice, up to the Tamworth region from the Central Coast.
Brooks has been in custody since his arrest in December while Carruthers is bailed to live in Sydney.
The court heard sentencing assessment reports would not be finalised for the two co-accused until later this month.
Crown prosecutor Brett Hatfield told the court during Carruthers' mention that there were a number of co-accused "still working their way through the system" and he wasn't sure when they would be arraigned and formally enter pleas.

He asked the court to relist the case to the next sitting of the district court in Tamworth next month.
"It may ultimately go to Gosford or Sydney," he said, adding that he expected the group to be sentenced together.
Carruthers previously pleaded guilty in the local court to supplying a prohibited drug in a commercial quantity, a charge which can carry a heft prison sentence. He faces related allegations.
Judge Deborah Payne adjourned Carruthers' matter for mention in late November.
Brooks' case was relisted on November 10 and was ordered to appear via video link from custody on the next occasion.
He previously pleaded guilty in the local court to supplying a prohibited drug; and faces some related charges.
Bail was formally refused.
