THERE'S no complaints here as Tamworth Regional Council reported a clean slate in its public interest disclosures and code of conduct complaints for the last six months.

It comes after councillor Mark Rodda raised concerns about transparency and called for a public register of all closed door meetings between the council and developers earlier this year.
The positive report is all the proof the council needed that it doesn't have an issue with accountability or openness, Cr Phil Betts said.
"I know there was conjecture earlier on that we needed to have a reporting system but to me this vindicates the fact that council has received no complaints against us," he said.
"The report goes to the Ombudsman and it really vindicates the processes put in place by this council and the reputation."

In the last six months there were no disclosures of corrupt conduct, maladministration, substantial waste, local government information or pecuniary interest contraventions recorded.
Mayor Col Murray said he was proud to put the report on the table given some other councils don't have the ability to claim a clear conscience.
"I think the fact that council has received no code of conduct complaints demonstrates the functionality of the council and the way that the elected representatives and the senior staff have been able to work together in a productive way on behalf of the community," he said.
"I think this is another round of evidence that that request from one of our councillors was probably not substantiated."
