On the agenda tonight, the council will vote on whether to cover an additional financial burden after the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal approved a water price hike that will see Tamworth pay almost double the the next highest priced valley in the Murray Darling Basin.
A few lucky residents will be given a couple of bucks to spruce up the joint as councillors vote to contribute to locally significant projects through the Heritage Assistance Fund.
And, as the Sydney CBD-sized Tamworth Global Gateway Park moves full steam ahead, the council can expect an update on exactly where it's at.
