The plan has been hailed largely as a success for metropolitan areas, but has seen some people in regional NSW take a backwards step as they wait for their second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
People who haven't had two doses of a vaccine are no longer permitted to enter pubs, clubs, restaurants, non-essential shops or the gym.

There has been a sense of unease among Tamworth businesses about the responsibility of turning away unvaccinated clientele, with those in the industry reminding the public to please be kind as the region adjusts to the new rules.
