Six cases were recorded in Gunnedah in the latest update, five of those were announced yesterday by MP Kevin Anderson.
Hunter New England Health (HNEH) confirmed four of the cases are in Gunnedah, one is in Carroll and one is in Kelvin.
The single new case in the Liverpool Plains Shire is in Werris Creek, where an exposure site was recently listed by NSW Health.

Tamworth has one confirmed case of COVID-19 living in West Tamworth, which was announced on Sunday, but no further cases have been announced despite several exposure sites being listed.
It is understood the source of the Gunnedah cluster remains under investigation.
Gunnedah has woken to lockdown this morning after stay at home orders were enforced at midnight last night.
No lockdown announcements have been made for Tamworth or Werris Creek, which is in the Liverpool Plains Shire local government area.
HNEH are encouraging residents to turn out for testing, as several exposure sites are listed across the city, as well as in Gunnedah and Werris Creek.
There were 65 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in the HNEH area to 8pm last night.
