A PIZZA delivery driver was allegedly robbed at knifepoint when he stopped to drop off an order last night.

Police have made a public appeal for information into the incident that officers claim took place when the 19-year-old male driver stopped at a home on Suzanne Street to deliver dinner.
Officers were told that as he returned to his vehicle, the driver was approached by an unknown man who threatened him with a knife and demanded money.
The stranger fled the scene with a bag of cash. He was last seen running towards Woodward Avenue with a large white dog with black spots, similar to a pit-bull, chasing after him.

Police would like to speak with a man they believe may be able to help. He is described as being aged 20 to 30, approximately 187cm tall and of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander appearance.
The man was last seen wearing dark track pants and a dark top with the hood pulled over his head.
Detectives have urged anyone with information or dashcam footage from the area at the time to contact Tamworth Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
