Club president Keith Nelson was hard at work on Saturday collecting donations for the club, which pays funeral costs for local truck drivers killed on the road.
The fundraiser will also go to pay upkeep for the city's truckies memorial, he said.
"If we lose a driver that is a member of the club, the club donates $1000 to his funeral expenses and that's been in place for a long time," he said.

"We do help people out in Tamworth."
Built in 2000, and one of just four in the country, the memorial bears the name of hundreds of truck drivers from around the country, is currently getting new street signs bearing the names of founding club members. It will also get hot-mixed grass to cut maintenance costs, Mr Nelson said.
"I've actually got four family members out there on the rocks, so it's pretty important to me," he said.
"It's a big mark of respect to the people that we've lost."
The club are holding a belated father's day raffle after the pandemic forced the cancellation of the original event.
The club was forced to cancel their truck show as a result of the coronavirus. Mr Nelson said they're hoping to organise a catch-up event once the pandemic allows.
