Timothy John Brooks remains behind bars and had his case called in Tamworth Local Court last week.

Defence solicitor Rasha Shammas appeared via video link when the court heard the matter had been resolved.

Brooks was facing a string of drug related allegations after police alleged he was connected to a large-scale ice supply ring they claim was moving drugs up to the region from the Central Coast.

Brooks pleaded guilty to one count of supplying a prohibited drug during the court mention, a charge which can carry a hefty jail sentence.

Solicitor Rayshele Martin for the state prosecuting authority, the DPP, confirmed several charges had been withdrawn, including multiple drug allegations as well as dealing with the proceeds of crime; and participating in a criminal group.

She told the court five other charges had been listed as related by the Crown.

The court heard on a previous occasion that prosecutors and the defence had been working on a set of agreed facts so Brooks' case could resolve.

Magistrate Soars accepted the plea and committed Brooks to Tamworth District Court for sentencing.

The case was adjourned to next month.

Brooks made no application for bail and it was formally refused.

He was arrested in December last year after Strike Force Kunderbung, which was investigating an alleged organised drug supply network, raided a Tamworth home.

Co-accused in the matter remain before the court.
