Motorists are being warned that the days of free parking in Tamworth's CBD due to the recent lockdown are about to come to an end.
Parking meters and parking time limits across the Tamworth CBD will be reinstated this Monday, September 20.
The parking meters and time limits were paused when the region was plunged into the most recent lockdown period.
But as lockdown restrictions have now eased council's parking rangers will recommence monitoring parking across the CBD from Monday.
Council also wants to remind CBD goers of the changes to parking areas in the central business district that were implemented just prior to lockdown.
These changes included new time limits for parking between Peel and Marius streets on Bourke Street (now two hours metered), Fitzroy Street (now two hours metered), White Street (now two hours metered) and the Town Hall Car Park (now two hours metered parking).
