Joshua Ty Tehoata, 29, and Tyson James Booby, 23, remain behind bars and did not appear in Tamworth Local Court earlier this week.
Solicitor Rayshele Martin from the state prosecuting authority, the DPP, asked the court for both cases to be adjourned for a charge certifier to consider which allegations to proceed with.
Ms Martin told the court several "requisitions" had been made in the case of Tehoata, the latest of which were served just a couple of days before the court mention.

She said co-accused Booby's matter involved firearms and there had also been recent requisitions involved.
"That's quite a long adjournment for charge certification," magistrate Julie Soars noted, but agreed to relist the co-accused's cases in mid-October.
Both defence solicitors consented to the adjournment.
Neither Tehoata nor Booby made an application for bail and Ms Soars formally refused it.
The pair each face a string of firearms and weapons charges after police claim a pursuit was sparked as the co-accused left East Tamworth McDonald's in the early hours of May 15.
Police allege the passenger of the car leant out the window and fired bullets at the unmarked police car as the chase continued through Nemingha, Kootingal, Calala and Tamworth.
Road spikes were deployed and the Ford Territory the co-accused were travelling in eventually lost control and crashed through a fence at the Tamworth Golf Course, about 45 minutes after the pursuit began.
Tehoata and Booby were chased down as they allegedly tried to run away and were arrested on the course a short time later.
Police claim several bullet holes were later discovered in the bumper and bonnet of the police car.
No pleas have been entered.
