The talented young jockey piloted Armidale gelding Invincible Faith to victory in the $24,000 Pier Hotel Benchmark 58 Handicap (1000m).
Lewis was based in Tamworth until she moved to Ballina, with Stephen Lee her new master.

"I love it," she said after Sunday's victory.

Lea Selby trains Invincible Faith at Armidale and joked she had never "trained a sprinter before" when the six-year-old gelding debuted for her.
He was first up from a four week spell the former Queenslander relishing his jockey and new surrounds.
"I bought him for $6,500," Selby told Sky Thoroughbred Central's Gary Kliese.
She said she bought him because of his name and was delighted with Lewis' ride.
"She rode him so well," she added while also joking she didn't know how to train sprinters.
Whatever she has done with Invincible Faith it has worked as he finished powerfully to claim a fourth career win.
Earlier, nothing could separate Beat That (Brett Bellamy) and Rendelsham (Paddy Cunningham) in the Buzz Watkins Benchmark 66 Handicap (1400m).
