A YOUNG man has suffered injuries following a two-vehicle accident north-west of Gunnedah on Saturday afternoon.
At around 3.10pm, Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service (WRHS) crews were tasked by NSW Ambulance to attend a property where two motorcyclists had been involved in an incident.
While one rider only sustained minor injuries, the other required more serious attention.
The WRHS critical care medical team was required to treat a 19-year-old male for lower leg fractures.
He was attended to at the scene by the medical team and ambulance paramedics.
The man was then airlifted to Tamworth hospital via the rescue chopper, and is reported to be in a stable condition.
Crews were also needed overnight on Saturday after a 65-year-old man reportedly fell on a knife.
