AS THE city is plunged into a snap seven-day lockdown there's some confusion about what's open and what's not.

Most retail businesses in the local government area where stay at home rules apply must close to the public.
Businesses that can be open include supermarkets; small food and drink premises; petrol stations; banks; hardware and landscaping shops; agriculture and rural supplies; shops that sell pet supplies; newsagents; office supplies; chemists and liquor stores.
The post office will remain open as well as garden centres and plant nurseries; car hire services but not car dealerships; mobile repair shops; laundromats and dry cleaners.
Some car dealerships are operating with click and collect sales.
Pharmacies and medical service providers will remain open.
The Leader has put together a list of Tamworth Regional Council (TRC) services and facilities and the rules that apply to them.
Parking meters have been covered and will not be used during the lockdown. Time-restricted free parking in the CBD will not be enforced, however restrictions for disabled parking, loading zones, emergency services parking, taxi and bus zones will be.
A number of shows scheduled for August have been postponed, including A Whole New World, The Con Showcase Concert and Awards Presentation.
ROCKARIA has been cancelled among others, residents should check entertainmentvenues.com.au for details.
All TRC customer services centres across the region will be closed until the lockdown ends at 12:01am on August 17.
All libraries in the LGA will be closed and click and collect services will not be operating.
However, a LIbrary2U service is available by phoning the library on 6767 5228, residents who want staff to select books for them can call and order and the books will be delivered.
Borrowers are asked not to return items on loan.

The Youthie is closed, R U Volunteering is closed to face-to-face services, but phone lines will be open at 6767 5220.
Year Round Care will operate as usual, parents are asked to wear a mask at drop-off and when collecting their child from vacation care, and to send their child with a mask where possible.
Tamworth Sports Dome and the marsupial park are closed, while playgrounds remain open for residents to use as exercise but the council asks that users maintain social distancing, good hygiene and limit group sizes as per the public health order.
Barraba Pool is closed.
Tamworth Environmental Laboratory will remain open for essential testing, but non-routine customers who need tests should call on 6767 5119.
