Michael John Finlay, 56, appeared via video link from custody in Tamworth Local Court on Thursday after a string of property offence charges were levelled against him.
Defence solicitor Amanda Gaw represented the accused in court, where court documents reveal he denied all of the allegations, but was refused bail.
Operation Southbreak police arrested Finlay on Wednesday after an investigation was launched into an alleged break-in at a Cole Road home and an alleged break-and-enter at a Marius Street business on the weekend.
The police case is that the 56-year-old stole a car, cameras, speakers, mobile phones, iPads and laptops during the alleged spree.

Oxley police were alerted and Operation Southbreak officers began investigating on Sunday.
The specialist team, which targets property crime in Tamworth, zeroed in on Finlay at a motel on Goonoo Goonoo Road.
He was arrested about 11am and taken to Tamworth Police Station, where he was charged.
He was refused police bail at the time and spent the night in custody.
He fronted court the following day but magistrate Julie Soars ordered Finlay to remain behind bars while evidence in his case is compiled by police.
He is facing charges of entering a building with the intent to commit a serious indictable offence; stealing and driving a vehicle without consent; two counts of having goods in his personal custody suspected of being stolen; break, enter and steal; receiving property through theft; and steal property from a house.
The court heard Finlay pleaded not guilty to all allegations.
Ms Soars endorsed a remand warrant for him to have access to specialist medical attention in custody.
The case was adjourned.
Operation Southbreak was launched by a team of Oxley police officers about three years ago, in order to combat high levels of property crime that police noticed in the South Tamworth and West Tamworth areas.
