The Tamworth team was started by a group of passionate parents who wanted to enter a side in the games instead of trying to secure a spot on other ones in the district.
It's the second year the event has been postponed due to the virus and the team is disappointed to miss a run again, a Deadly Dhagaan's spokesman said.
"Obviously we are devastated over the KO being postponed until 2022," he said.
"However we do respect and support the decision made by the South Coast Black Cockatoos [which were set to host], I'm sure the decision wasn't easy on them.
"Keeping communities safe is a number one priority and without a doubt when the KO does go ahead it will be better than ever."
The 50th tournament was already pushed back by 12 months and on Tuesday the Black Cockatoos committee announced the October long weekend carnival would again be delayed.

The NSW Koori Knockout is one of the biggest Indigenous gatherings in Australia.
The Deadly Dhagaans had started a GoFundMe to get a team off the ground and the spokesman said the focus is now on rural carnivals held out west.
"This hasn't deterred us from our end goal of representing our community and our sponsors in our chosen sport," he said.
"We are undertaking a few meetings as a committee and we have a couple of ideas that could put Tamworth on the map if they come to pass.
"We are a resilient club and this is just the beginning for Deadly Dhagaans Indigenous Corporation."
