The former Tamworth publican represented himself in the Sydney Downing Centre Local Court at sentencing, where he was part heard but the case was delayed again until late September.

Foxman was found guilty of the two offences more than three months ago, and court documents reveal magistrate Greg Grogin has made an order that no more adjournments will be allowed in the case.

During a special hearing in Tamworth Local Court in April, Foxman was found guilty of using a carriage service to menace, harass or offend; and threaten a person with the intent to influence a public justice official.

The offences relate to more than 30 "rambling" emails the Imperial Hotel owner sent to a police prosecutor - including 22 in one day - which also had government departments, the Tamworth court, the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC), politicians, the US embassy and the prime minister CC'd into them.

During the hearing, Mr Grogin was handed a large brief to consider, which detailed the emails sent by Foxman; court staff and prosecutor statements as well as a transcript of Foxman's interactions with police when he was arrested.

An email sent by Foxman last September caused Tamworth courthouse to be evacuated for half-an-hour, after he wrote that it would be "all that is going to be left by the time I'm finished with you".

Mr Grogin found the content of the emails threatening and "no doubt" disturbing.

Jonathan Cohen was Foxman's barrister in the hearing and said at the time the emails were so "outlandish" that they could not have been taken seriously.

"The intention is this man seriously believes there is ... a conspiracy against him," Mr Cohen said at the time.

He added Foxman believed the way his other matters before the court were being handled was "affecting the relationship between Australia and China".

The Crown submitted Foxman had sent the emails "knowing it would cause a menacing, harassing and offensive effect" and was intentionally trying to affect the way his matters were being prosecuted.

Foxman, who is on bail in Sydney, was taken into custody by police late last year, and the Crown played footage from an officer's body worn camera.

In the video, Foxman could be heard saying: "I'm sending them sh*t emails, I am just going to keep inundating them until they give up".

He said in the video Tamworth police were "selling drugs" at the Imperial Hotel and decided to "put on a sex show" at the venue, and also claimed he was "not a nut job".

Mr Grogin ultimately found the Tamworth publican guilty on both charges, and adjourned the matters for sentencing.

Sentencing was adjourned in May, delayed again in July, and has now been set down for September.
